About Our Kehilot (Congregations)

We are a community of talmidim (disciples) who believe that Yeshua is the Mashiach (Messiah) who was promised through the words of the Tanakh (OT).
We maintain a Hebraic expression of our faith in accordance with Scriptures.
We meet each Shabbat (Saturday) to worship YHVH (Adonai) the God of Avraham (Abraham), Yitz'chak (Isaac) and Ya'akov (Jacob).
We keep the seven scriptural festivals of Leviticus Chapter 23 as appointments with our God.
We also acknowledge Purim and Hanukkah as festivals that bring praise to YHVH.
We recognise Torah as God's foundational instruction to His chosen people Isra’el and that by gaining a knowledge of the whole Bible, we come into a closer relationship with Yeshua our Mashiach.
In accordance with 2 Timothy 3:16, we believe that the whole Tanakh (OT) is inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and that the B'rit Hadashah (NT) is an inspired record of much that took place in the life and teaching of Yeshua, with the Revelation to Yochanan (John) being the culmination of God's prophetic word to mankind.
We support Isra'el as a nation set apart by God and regularly pray for the peaceful restoration of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) through the return of Yeshua to his Land as reigning King.

Graeme and Caroline founded Talmidei Yeshua Auckland Kehilah in 2003 and at the same time launched the nationwide internet outreach as Talmidei Yeshua Messianic Ministry of New Zealand. Then in 2016 established the Hawkes Bay Kehilah.

Ashok and Api joined the Auckland Kehilah in 2012, then in 2014 the mantel of leadership for Auckland was passed to them, to enable Graeme and Caroline to take a twelve-month sabbatical and in 2015, leaving Ashok and Api to continue in the leadership roles in Auckland.

General oversight of the ministry has remained with Graeme and Caroline, with other supporting members assisting Ashok and Api with the leadership and administration of the Auckland Kehilah. The national and overseas outreach is led by Graeme and Caroline from Hawkes Bay, while also maintaining contact with Messianic individuals and communities in other countries, including Isra’el.
